The fifth edition of Din-Design In, the exhibitory event by Promotedesign.it is now over. It took place from April 4th to April 9th in the Lambrate area. It has joined the initiative by Ventura Design District, project which had the patronage of Comune di Milano.

Din-Design In hosted more than 600 different products from over 100 designers and firms coming from all over the world and it showed good design with innovation, funcionalities and sperimentation. 2,000 square metres of exhibitory islands, individual and collectives where furniture and products, light & sounds had their space. Among the most innovative products Plantui 6, a hydroponic indoor garden for growing intense herbs. Plantui 6 grow 6 plants by the exclusive capsule system. It’s an innovative product, with an intelligent software that take care of the lights, water and nutriments automatically. Very eco-friendly also the wall ornaments Energy Wall, project by Dipl Architektin Denise da Cruz Campitelli after the researches of www.greentime.li. Apart from being a good ornaments it’s also perfect for producing clean energy.

Din Design In also gave space to important Italian Design Institutes: some excellences of the University of Design Polo Michelangelo of Bologna, selected for the realization of modular furniture have been exhibited at the location and also the new line of Design of CentroStileMichelangelo and Arancia Design has been presented by the famous Architect and Designer Alessandro Mendini who also passed by the location.; il Nuovo Istituto di Design di Perugia, instead, exhibited NODE – Natural Organic Design Exhibit, a light installation, where craftsmanship and design interact in a whole new context. NODE, is nothing more than the synthesis of interweaving the willow and LED tube light, where the linear and clean forms of pendant chandeliers that come from plant branches, appearing in all their naturalness, ended by a disruptive element identified in the led bar.

Din-Design In confirmed itself as one of the must see event during the Design Week, thanks to its creative, international atmosphere and bearer of news from the design sector. Journalist, professionals, experts and curious people invaded the space of Din-Design In. More than 120,000 the people who passed by the location that for 6 days hosted the best from the
autoproduction and industrial design and a bookshop run by the publisher Logo Fausto Lupetti Editore.

Din – Design In 2017 also hosted the project Heart’s Serviced Apartments for Art – Business – Mountain – Sea design by Simone Micheli Architect – internationally famous archited who gave life to a new concept linked to the world of hospitality. It offers a careful and thorough overview of the current change leading to the substantial increase experienced by the field of extra-hotel hospitality in the last few years.

Promotedesign.it also organized wEating 2017, the event that joined street food to design presenting good food and excellences of 9 food truck with an eye to the quality that in these first edition were no longer simple bridge among the exhibition but gained a whole space dedicated to them: ApeBedda, spokeperson of Sicilian street food with Pane Cunzatu as better dish, Marchese – Cannoli on wheels and its fabulous Sicilian cannoli, Aperia, that presented its tastes from the tradition of Salone, Baladin and its funny Beer Bike that gives Milano handmade beer from the famous firm from Turin, il PARMIGIANO gourmet street food with its parmesan menu, COOL Gelateria Naturale that gave the chance to taste an ice cream that followes the season rhythm, Brianza che nutre un Consorzio di eccellenze, that choosed to represent the whole territory of Brianza and Las Bravas that brought a Spanish touch and food with Spanish tastes. Many were the news and the surprises in this 5th edition of one of the most awaited events of the Design Week of Milan. We are a collective of designers and architects whose goal is to promote creativity and design. Through the web portal and the offer of numerous service we put into contact all the actors in the sector. We collaborate with several bodies, as manufacturing firms, universities, specialized schools and publishing houses in order to favor the realization of different planning projects that help the increase of the debate.

The web portal also include several institutions related to the design universe, like prototype laboratories, photographers, press offices and more, to offer the registered users a network in constant change. The portal wants to be not only a useful working tool but also an opportunity to develop collaborations.

All the subscribers can create a professional profile from which manage independently all the personal information. In the profile the user will upload pictures of products, concepts, developing projects, descriptions of those projects and also a biography/cv. The system works for designers, firms and all those who wants a relevant service.

In addition, users will be offered the possibility of using promotional, learning and refreshing training services. Contests, free workshops, events, commercial partnerships are constantly offered.

È ormai giunta al termine la quinta edizione di Din-Design In, evento espositivo organizzato da Promotedesign.it  in occasione della Design Week milanese in concomitanza con il Salone Internazionale del Mobile. Din – Design In che si è svolto dal 4 al 9 aprile 2017 in zona Lambrate, ha sposato l’iniziativa di Ventura Design District ed è stato patrocinato dal Comune di Milano.

Din – Design In ha ospitato più di 600 prodotti di oltre 100 designer e aziende provenienti da ogni parte del mondo e ci ha accompagnato alla scoperta del buon design all’insegna dell’innovazione, della funzionalità e della sperimentazione. 2000 metri quadrati di isole espositive individuali e collettive dove hanno trovato spazio complementi e oggetti d’arredo, light & sound design. Tra i prodotti più innovativi Plantui 6, un giardino idroponico per la crescita facile e veloce di erbe aromatiche e fiori realizzato da PLANTUI ITALIA che permette la crescita simultanea di 6 piante tramite l’esclusivo sistema a capsule. Un prodotto dotato di un controllo intelligente che gestisce la luce, l’acqua e i nutrimenti autonomamente per una produzione ecologica delle piante tutto l’anno. Decisamente ecosostenibile è l’elemento decorativo vegetale da parete Energy Wall,  progettato da Dipl Architektin Denise da Cruz Campitelli in conseguenza alle ricerche fatte da www.greentime.li. Oltre a costituire un elemento decorativo/costruttivo mai strutturale è anche adatto per produrre energia pulita da usare per scopi estetici.

Din – Design In ha dato spazio ad importanti Istituti di Design italiani: nella location sono state esposte alcune eccellenze dell’Istituto Universitario di Design Polo Michelangelo di Bologna, scelte per la realizzazione di arredi modulari, e la nuova linea di Design del CentroStileMichelangelo e di Arancia Design, che per l’occasione ha avuto il famoso Architetto e Designer Alessandro Mendini come ospite dello stand; il Nuovo Istituto di Design di Perugia, invece, ha esposto NODE – Natural Organic Design Exhibit, un’installazione luminosa, dove artigianato e design dialogano in un contesto del tutto nuovo. NODE, non è altro che la sintesi tra intreccio del giunco e luce tubolare led, dove le forme lineari e pulite di lampadari a sospensione che nascono dai rami vegetali,  presentandosi in tutta la loro naturalezza, sono conclusi da un elemento di rottura identificato nella barra led.

Din-Design In si è confermato uno degli appuntamenti da non perdere durante il Fuorisalone grazie alla sua atmosfera creativa, internazionale e portatrice di novità del mondo del design. Giornalisti, professionisti, esperti del settore e semplici curiosi hanno invaso lo spazio di Din Design In. Oltre 120’000 le persone che hanno visitato la location che per sei giorni ha ospitato il meglio del design autoprodotto e industriale ed un bookshop gestito dalla casa editrice Logo Fausto Lupetti Editore.

A conferma del successo ottenuto, le parole del fondatore di Din – Design In 2017 Enzo Carbone:

“L’edizione 2017 è stata senza dubbio positiva e ricca di contenuti per gli ottimi risultati ottenuti. L’entusiasmo e l’energia che si respirava all’interno dello spazio ha contagiato anche tutti i numerosissimi visitatori che hanno preso parte all’evento. Din – Design In 2017 ha inoltre accolto il progetto Heart’s Serviced Apartments for Art – Business – Mountain – Sea design by Simone Micheli Architect – architetto di fama internazionale – che ha dato vita ad un nuovo concept legato al mondo dell’ospitalità e offrendo una panoramica curata ed approfondita del cambiamento in atto che conduce al forte incremento vissuto dal settore della ospitalità extra-alberghiera negli ultimi anni.

Promotedesign.it ha animato la settimana organizzando wEating 2017, l’evento che ha coniugato lo street food e il design presentando buona cucina e eccellenze gastronomiche di 9 food track attenti alla qualità: ApeBedda, Marchese – Cannoli on wheels, Aperia, La Puccia, Baladin, il PARMIGIANO gourmet street food, COOL Gelateria Naturale, Brianza che nutre un Consorzio di eccellenze e Las Bravas .

Sono state quindi tante le novità e tante le sorprese presentate in questa quinta edizione di uno degli eventi più attesi della Design Week milanese. Ora non resta dunque che aspettare il prossimo anno per scoprire ciò che Din-Design In ha in serbo per noi.

Siamo un collettivo di designer e architetti determinati a promuovere il design e la creatività.
